PHA is "Being Family"

Every child deserves to have a family who loves, supports, cares for, and guides them.

For Vulnerable youth in Ukraine PHA is that family.

Who We Are

Working together to change the futures of orphan and at-risk youth in Ukraine.

PHA is proud to be a Ukrainian run ministry and our ministry partners are awesome! PHA is thankful for their servant’s hearts! Our Ukrainian ministry partners are who do all of PHA’s day to day work in Ukraine. God led PHA to Zaporizhia, to Poltava, to Kamenskoye, and we don’t know where He will lead us next, but He has certainly shown us His hand in this ministry.  God has put all of these people together to serve orphans and at-risk youth in Ukraine and we can’t wait to see what happens next!

PHA is blessed to have many members in our PHA Family.  Our PHA Family isn’t just those we serve and who serve in Ukraine. It also includes our donors, our prayer warriors, our volunteers, our faithful board members, and our mission trip team members.

PHA's Transition Program

We help vulnerable youth transition from a traumatized past into a hopeful future.

— Our Mission

We connect vulnerable Ukrainian youth to a community who provides loving guidance towards healthy lives in Christ.

While our mission has not changed, in this time of crisis with God’s guidance, we are fully living into our humanitarian aid roots.

— Our Vision

A Ukraine where every child is equipped to successfully navigate life as a follower of Jesus Christ.

— Our Values

  1. Demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ.
  2. Enable Ukrainian Christians to steward the shared ministry of PHA.
  3. Give the hopeless the opportunity to know and experience hope.
  4. Promote healthy life choices and family dynamics.
  5. Grow God’s Kingdom in Ukraine.

— Graduation

Graduation should be a happy and exciting time in a teen’s life, but for orphans and at-risk youth in Ukraine, this day brings fear and uncertainty.

Graduates leave the institutional system they were raised in, dealing with pasts filled with abuse and abandonment. They are unprepared for independence, and they have little hope of a successful future.

Without intervention, their futures often end in:

  • suicide
  • prostitution
  • prison
  • homelessness
  • life on the streets

— PHA’s Transition Program for Older Orphans and At-Risk Youth:

The children in PHA’s Transition Program learn life skills such as how to cook, how to clean, how to maintain a home, and how to make and use a budget. They also receive tutoring and legal help. Through a network of local Christians, they receive mentorship, learn about healthy relationships and most importantly, are shown Christ’s Love.
